Virtual Assistants (VAs) are the implementers and are task-oriented. They typically focus more on individual tasks and are like traditional administrative assistants. Some of the tasks a VA may handle include calendar management and scheduling, email management, and preparing slideshows.
An Online Business Manager (OBM) is more of a managerial role. Many OBMs manage teams and day-to-day operations, and are still somewhat in the implementation.
A certified Director of Operations (DOO) is a director-level role who serves alongside the CEO, providing a holistic approach to business management. A DOO is trained in the Strategic Mapping Model™, which allows them to partner in-depth with you from day one. They are trained in a large number of operational areas including finances, HR, and project management. Additionally, a DOO focuses on metrics and KPIs to better understand if the business is on the right path or if there are opportunities or gaps that need to be addressed.
